This M.2 (NGFF) Key B to Mini-PCIe Modem Adapter is perfect for adapting older style modems into a router or host device/adapter that only has an m.2 key B modem slot. It has one SIM slot. This modem adapter will work with both standard “3042” as well as the longer “3052” 5G modem slots.

This M.2 adapter is another one of very few adapters that we’ve discovered to work (consistently) with the Cellular 4G LTE and 5G modems–and we have a trash can full of various makes and models of M.2 adapters that do not work.

4G 5G Modem Adapter Suggestions and Instructions:

1. This M.2 (NGFF) Key B to Mini-PCIe Modem Adapter will work with mini-PCIe modem cards (i.e., Sierra Wireless MC series cards, Telit LM940/LM960A18 style), it is meant to adapt the M.2 KEY B slot of a host device (Router, etc) for using with Mini-Pcie modems.
2. In order for a Windows based PC to recognize most modem card, regardless of how it is being attached, the modem drivers must first be installed on the Windows device.  Refer to your modem manufacturer or sales distributor/retailer for more info.
