Our regulators keep your device voltage at ~12.3VDC with an input range that can vary from 10VDC to 36VDC. Perfect for your WiFi router system protection.

This is a simple and low cost inline device that can save an expensive and destructive problem from over voltages caused by varying vehicle charging system spikes. When powering a 12VDC sensitive electronics from a vehicle power source, there are many times the power output voltage ranges over 12VDC. This can be very damaging to electronics not designed for this use. This is where an inline voltage regulator can save your device from expensive damages.

This regulator is made for DC input and DC output only, and can not be wired backwards. There are indicators to proper wiring on the body of the regulator. Wiring color helps differentiate the wires and their associated use.

We recommend using one of these when powering any WiFi Router or Wireless Internet Modem system that uses 12VDC power input.

Our regulators come with the following:

1 x DC to DC Power Regulator
4 x Solder Seal Wire Connectors
1 x 2 wire (+/-) power cable with Male 2.1mm x 5.5mm barrel connector
1 x 2 wire (+/-) power cable with Female 2.1mm x 5.5mm barrel connector

You can opt to wire directly into your systems 12VDC wiring, or use the included power plug cables, or any combination of them.

Note: Solder Seal Wire Connectors make connecting two pre-stripped wires together simple with any high heat source (heat gun recommended, but a lighter flame will work as well; with careful slow application)
