REFURBISHED PRODUCT

These Cradlepoint Mission-Critical Broadband MBR1400LPE V2 (hardware version two) 4G LTE routers are equipped with an option for either the MC200LE-ARC (CAT3), MC200LP-ARC (CAT3), or the MC400LPE-ARC (CAT3) multi-carrier modem.  This router kit includes everything required to connect to the internet except an activated SIM card (and SIM card adapter if needed).  The WiFi antennas have been upgraded to accommodate both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz frequencies (antennas may vary from those shown in the photos).

The Cradlepoint MC modems are compatible with the majority of carriers to include:

  • AT&T
  • Sprint (Not recommended, and must be provisioned thru Sprint)
  • Generic (T-Mobile and other carriers in the U.S. & Canada)
  • US Cellular
  • Verizon

Please see the individual details of each modem at their product listings:
Cradlepoint MC200LE-VZ ARC Integrated Cellular Modem – (Verizon firmware)
Cradlepoint MC200LP-AT ARC Integrated Cellular Modem – (AT&T firmware)
Cradlepoint MC400LPE-ARC Integrated 4G LTE Modem (Multi-Carrier)

The MBR1400 V2 router is updated to the latest Cradlepoint software.  The modems are updated and configured with the latest carrier firmware per the customer’s selection (i.e, “Preferred Carrier”).

If a different carrier is later desired, the new carrier’s firmware may be uploaded from within the Cradlepoint’s software (i.e., the web user interface).

Cradlepoint routers are also compatible with the most popular USB modems and hotspots.  Refer to Cradlepoint’s Officially Supported Modem List for more details.

TheMC400LPE has a maximum download of 100 Mbps and 50 Mbps upload, and allows swapping from one carrier to another from within the Cradlepoint router’s web user interface.   A link to the latest carrier firmware is available to our customers upon request.

This router is practically a plug-and-play internet solution for both business or residential applications.  It is also idea for a RV or marine vessel since the MBR1400 may additionally be powered via a 12 volt DC cigarette lighter plugin adapter.

The modem options are all equipped with SMA female antenna connectors to accommodate external antennas (inside or outdoors) for locations where LTE cellular signals are less than optimal.

  1. ZACHARY HART

I had originally wanted to roll my own with some of the other options LTEFix has to offer, but some of them sold out before I got a chance to purchase and were likely overkill for my needs. Besides, I just couldn’t stand my Verizon Jetpack any longer.
I live off-grid and having a cellular modem is my only option, having basic router functions built-in means one less device I need to power.
The unit came flashed with AT&T firmware but I was able to download and flash for Verizon in relatively short order. So in under an hour I was connected to the internet via LTE and making configurations to my network (like changing the IP range and reserving IPs for my NAS/PLex server and a few other devices). The control options are quite robust and I’ve only scratched the surface.
Sales & Support put up with me while tire-kicking months ago and were equally responsive with some follow-up questions I had regarding this purchase.
A note about ‘refurbished’: In my head I pictured the components coming in the original box. They did not. Instead they were meticulously packed in custom sleeves of bubble wrap….The packaging was very well thought-out and to me this demonstrates they care about the equipment they are sending you.
So far, couldn’t be happier with this purchase!

For the past two years I have been hostage to a 3 mb DSL line that is everything but reliable. I gave this a try with an unlimited AT&T service plan. After 5 days and 85gig, and fairly good service I’m getting right at 31 in download speeds and 12-29 up. A pleasant change from the dsl. I’m pretty rural so this is working great so far. Its been almost a week of continuous usage, Kids gaming , Netflix, surfing, etc. No issues with 4 of us in the house. Loving this so far!

Works like it suppose to. Was good value for money and easy to use. Look up detailed instructions in manual for wifi adjustment. Happy with quality of the refurbished router.

  4. Lewis Faber

Purchased primarily as internet source for rural second home, no DSL, cable or WISP available, only satellite (ouch). This is an easy to use cellular router that works great. I also take it in my motorhome all over the country and now I have internet almost everywhere. I added 2 omni external antennas on the roof of the motorhome and I get great reception while traveling and in remote areas. During a conversation with LTE Fix, I was told they would soon be introducing the MBR1400 with a Lp6 cat6 modem. I will most likely upgrade when it is available.

  5. JamesAvery

Cradlepoint routers have been around a long time and version 2 of MBR1400 has always been my favorite. Solid piece of equipment and works well with ATT and TMO. Top notch refurbishing job.

  6. Waterman74

So far this has been working as advertised. AT&T network working 24/7 no problems.
