I purchased a Cudy LT500 from Wireless Haven.
I had it customized by putting on 2 external SMA ports to hook up a 7-10db antenna.
I use it in a WAN Failover mode. If my fiber 500Mbps goes down … it automatically fails over to a wireless Visible connection of 50Mbps.
All is connected to an AC UPS unit in event of a power failure. So, I am redundant on Internet and Power.

LTE FIX has worked with our manufacturer to modify the firmware on the LT500 to include TTL modifications and a built-in AT Command Terminal.
The Cudy LT500 uses 4G LTE technology to achieve speeds of up to 150 Mbps when downloading and 50 Mbps when uploading. You can also connect to games, streaming and more using Wi-Fi at a maximum speed of 867Mbps on 5GHz and 300 Mbps to 2.4 GHz.

These are designed as hotspot devices for all major cellular networks and are certified as such in most cases. The customer is responsible for checking network compatibility BEFORE purchasing, with their carrier. If you are working in LAN mode, LT500 is just a normal 4G LTE router. While working in WAN mode, the LT500 can maintain 4G and WAN connections at the same time and preferably provide the Internet via wired ports. The 4G network is just a backup. |
