The new WiFiX NEXPRO 5G Gigabit Wireless Internet WiFi Router with the latest in 5G Modem tech, the Quectel RM520N-GL 5G Qualcomm x62 chip based wireless internet modem, is a fantastic ready to go system.

With the right settings, that we can help with using our direct support, you can use this with home internet SIMs, as well as various other types of SIMs. **Physical SIM cards only.

For outdoor or remote installations, the NEXPRO may be powered using a 48 Volt 60W-100W Gigabit Power over Ethernet POE injector like our 48V 72W Gigabit PoE Injector paired with our very popular, high powered, 48V to 12V 3A Gigabit PoE Splitter.  This is a powerful option for installing the NEXPPRO (or just its PCB) inside one of our external outdoor antennas (with enclosure), an outdoor router enclosure, or in a remote area where power is not readily accessible.  This brings custom installations to a whole new level.

The NEXPRO router comes with a new firmware that is NOT Rooter/Goldenorb based, like our WiFiX firmware. If you would like Rooter firmware, it is possible to convert using the instructions from the Rooter team, but we do not currently support using Rooter firmware on this router, other than our base manufacturer warranty.

NOTE: Cellular service providers may require activating a specific data plan to use on a cellular internet device.   The carriers are constantly updating and/or modifying existing cellular plans.   It is the customer’s sole responsibility to assure a compatible cellular plan is available prior to purchasing cellular related components.

The WiFiX NEXPRO Router comes with, or equipped with, the following:

• 4 x Wideband 5G NR Antennas – SMA Connectors(removeable for outdoor antenna connection)
• 2 x 2.4GHz WiFi Antennas – SMA Connectors
• 2 x 5GHz WiFi Antennas – SMA Connectors
• 12 Volt DC 3 Amp Power Adapter (110VAC – 12VDC)

The NEXPRO requires a NANO sized SIM Card. This device is a single SIM card device.

Antenna Upgrades:

The NEXPRO stock cellular antennas may be upgraded to any of the following cellular antennas:

• 600-3800MHz Cellular Omni-Directional Paddle Antennas (SMA Connectors) PAIR
• 700-2700MHz Rectangular 3.5dBi-4dBi 4G LTE Omni Antenna with SMA Male Connectors (PAIR)
• 698-2700MHz Cradlepoint 3dBi 4G LTE Omni Antenna (PAIR)
• 700-2700MHz 5dBi Cellular Hotspot Omni-Directional Antennas (SMA Connectors) – Pair

Outdoor External Cellular antenna(s) may also be suitable to obtain adequate (and usable) cellular signals in rural and/or remote locations.
