This mini-PCIe to M.2 (NGFF) Key B 4G 5G Modem Adapter is perfect for adapting the longer “3052” 5G Modems into a router or host device that only has a mini-PCIe modem slot. It has no SIM slot. You must have a SIM slot tied to the Mini-PCIe slot that you use this in. This modem adapter will work with both standard M.2 4G modems “3042” as well as the longer “3052” 5G modems

This M.2 adapter is another one of very few adapters that we've discovered to work (consistently) with the Cellular 4G LTE and 5G M.2 Key B modems–and we have a trash can full of various makes and models of M.2 adapters that do not work.

4G 5G Modem Adapter Suggestions and Instructions:

1. This M.2 Key B Modem adapter will not work with mini-PCIe modem cards (i.e., Sierra Wireless MC series cards), it is meant to adapt the mini-PCIe slot of a host device (Router, etc) for using M.2 Key B style Modem cards.
2. In order for a Windows based PC to recognize a Sierra Wireless modem card, regardless of how it is being attached, the Sierra Wireless Windows drivers must first be installed on the Windows device.  Refer to our LTE FIX IT Series tutorial
