Our Category 16 Hotspot Router Bundle – NEXS2GO with Quectel EM160R-GL Modem is all you need for a super fast cellular hotspot router using the high performance Quectel Wireless, Category 16, EM160R-GL LTE-A wireless cellular modem together with the WiFiX NEXS2GO router.
Assembly is included
The Quectel EM160R-GL is a 4×4 MIMO modem, meaning it uses 4 separate antennas. That means that you have to add a second pair of antennas to the router itself. That requires an additional two 1/4″ holes in the router case to install the extra 2 antenna connectors. This kit includes a full set of 4 antennas as well as the four needed antenna connectors for the modem to router.
This kit can be paired with our convenient to mount all in one 4×4 MIMO outdoor antenna for a strong signal when outdoor antennas are needed for signal improvements, or a pair of our High Beam X2 antennas for even more boost.
The Quectel Wireless EM160R-GL is a more powerful modem and has power requirements that can be more than the stock power adapter that comes with most routers. Because of this we have added our 4A power supply to the list of items in the bundle. We want to make sure you have all the amps you will need to deliver reliable modem power.
